Year 4 had an immersive Easter trail in our very own woodlands. We reflected on that first Easter imagining the birds singing, the sun shining, and the wind blowing. We put ourselves in the shoes of the first disciples and considered the feelings in the story. Then we went and recreated the story using natural items. As we retold the story and showcased what we made we were all reflective amd immersed. Finally we celebrated our learning over a fire and learnt about how Peter met Jesus on a beach by a fire. Whilst Peter and Jesus enjoyed bbq'd fish .... we agreed we preferred marshmallows!
