Peripatetic Tuition
Unfortunately, external Music tuition is currently temporarily suspended at St David's School due to COVID-19 Pandemic social distancing restrictions. Children are encouraged to learn a variety of instruments and may be withdrawn for up to 15 minutes for musical instrument tuition.
Did you know that music education speeds the development of speech and reading skills, trains children to focus their attention for sustained periods, and helps them to develop empathy and emotional intelligence? See this Royal Conservatory of Music report.
Lessons are taught in the Resource Room with a peripatetic teacher on Monday, Tuesday or Friday. A small charge is normally made for instrumental tuition which is paid a term in advance.
To book lessons for your child, please take a look at the variety of instruments on offer and contact the school office who will then inform the relevant tutor service provider.
