Year 2 joined forces with the Reception and Year 1 class to perform the delightful Christmas production 'A Christmas Recipe', and what a wonderful performance it was. The children looked amazing and sang beautifully, performing with great confidence and enthusiasm. They thoroughly enjoyed sharing the special Christmas story through a range of lively songs and actions, bringing  joy to everyone watching. Their smiles and energy truly captured the spirit of Christmas.

As part of their learning, the children also enjoyed a memorable visit to Hope Chapel in Porthcawl, where they were invited to experience 'Christmas through the keyhole'. This immersive visit allowed the pupils to step into different parts of the Nativity story. They explored the home of Mary, visited Joseph’s workshop, and saw the home of the Wise Men, learning about the important role each played in the Christmas story. The journey ended at the stable, where the children met the very special arrival at the heart of Christmas. This hands-on experience helped bring their classroom learning to life and deepened their understanding of the Christmas story in a meaningful and memorable way.
